One step to get your project running with PanelAlpha Engine 2.1.0!

The 2.0 generation gave PanelAlpha Engine a much bigger job: go beyond WordPress and become the easiest way to self-host any project. Since then, we have been looking for every place where that process can get shorter, clearer and require less from the person using it. Version 2.1.0 goes straight at the very beginning of that process.

Getting started is now as simple as it gets: one command installs Engine and deploys your Git project.

Open source has made great software easier to find than ever, but not necessarily easier to run. The gap between a GitHub repository and a working application on your own VPS can still hide a lot of technical work: preparing the server, matching the right environment, handling dependencies and getting all the pieces to work together. That is the gap we want Engine to keep closing.

Engine is open source, so feedback, issues, strange repositories and contributions are all very welcome.

But if you’d rather browse through the rest of the changes first, head to the release notes and changelog.
