While PanelAlpha Single Server has been getting most of the spotlight lately, work on the Multi Server edition hasn’t slowed down. Version 1.8.0 is now out!
Here’s a quick look at what’s included:
Reworked backup backend
This is where most of the work went. The backup layer has been redesigned to rely less on the environment it runs in, which should make it behave more consistently across different setups. It also gave us a chance to clear out a number of issues that had been showing up in less obvious scenarios.
Cron jobs for WP Cloud
You can now handle scheduling directly within WP Cloud, without stitching together external solutions.
Extended automation for Extendify
Added support for one-step website creation in Extendify 3.0 means more flexibility in how it fits into your workflows, especially if you’re standardizing setups or automating post-deployment steps.
OpenLiteSpeed improvement
A small adjustment for OpenLiteSpeed environments in PanelAlpha Engine, aimed at smoothing out everyday use.
This release is as much about visible improvements as it is about the details behind them. If you’re curious how deep it goes, the release notes and changelog tell the full story.
