PanelAlpha 2.0 is now our main focus. Together with Single Server Edition we are expanding the use of our panel to not only support WordPress, provide native AI functionality together with a much more competetive pricing model. Stay tuned, we can’t wait to show you another BETA preview :wink:

Upcoming releases

Before v2.0, we still plan to ship a few smaller but important features in July and August:

  • Stripe integration for lightweight billing with plans, custom pricing, custom invoices and simple reports
  • Mass import improvements to make importing multiple sites easier
  • AdminBolt integration as an optional back-end environment for PanelAlpha
  • General system improvements, including plugin downloads, dedicated servers for specific customers and several smaller and larger fixes

More about PanelAlpha 2.0

To give you a bit more details, here’s what we plan to do:

  • Single Server Edition - this is becoming one of the most important parts of PanelAlpha 2.0. As a reminder, it will be free for self-use, up to 5 instances.
  • Spporting any applications - PanelAlpha will go beyond WordPress and support custom apps like PHP, Node.js, Python, Nuxt, Next.js, Laravel and more, with stack auto-detection where possible. Together of course with auto-deploy from git.
  • Connect AI with MCP - Users will be able to connect their own AI assistant, like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any other model, and ask it to help with server and project management.
  • PanelAlpha Engine Open Source - We also plan to release PanelAlpha Engine as open source on GitHub, with cleaned up code, proper documentation and full CLI support.

Supporting any application beyond WP is a great addition from business perspective. My suggestion regarding this:

  • Also integrate a drag and drop website builder, such as site.pro or kopage.
  • Even better, include Softaculous integration, which will allow my customer to install any app from 300+ apps in one click. This is matured platform and this one integration opens huge product line expansion for us, the hosting providers.
