We’ve just delivered the Background Billing feature, including quick registration, trial support, and an improved onboarding flow for end-customers.
Next, we’re planning two smaller updates that will introduce a better built-in analytics tool, Upmind integration, Atarim integration, and a refreshed side menu layout.
Coming in June, we’ll also launch the long-awaited Upgrade from cPanel/Plesk/DirectAdmin feature, making it much easier to move to PanelAlpha.
The reason we’re splitting into two smaller updates is to make space for larger features already in progress. These are being worked on in parallel:

PanelAlpha Engine V1.0 is the most critical system upgrade and is currently under heavy development. It brings support for web server management (including LiteSpeed), integration with Imunify, proper limit handling, server monitoring, SSH/SFTP access, automatic updates, CSF firewall, and more.

Migration Plugin will replace our current migration tool, which hasn’t worked well for many providers. The new WordPress-based plugin will offer much better performance, similar to how WP Engine handles migrations.

Tools for Agencies are also underway. Since agencies drive growth for many providers, we’re building better tools like mass actions, grouping sites into projects, moving sites between customers, and shifting billing from one customer to another.
Other hot items under consideration:
- More AI onboarding integrations (like Extendify)
- More CDN integrations
- Patchstack support
- Stripe or Chargebee as alternatives to WHMCS for billing
